Is it really that difficult?
On this site, we are about one thing- directing you to know Jesus, personally.  Yes, it is really simple and requires NO MONEY.  We don't need your money, and you don't have to give any money (or even have any money for that matter) to know Jesus.  But knowing Jesus will cost you.

It will cost you everything...but what you will get in return will be so worth it!  Jesus wants ALL of your past, ALL of your sins, ALL of your worries, ALL of your burdens....not part, not some, ALL.  And to begin that exchange, we will present below an "A-B-C" approach.  It is not "our" take on Christianity or religion or "church".  It is what the Bible instructs, to those who are seeking Him.  Even if you have never read the Bible, or been to a church, the WORD of God is like fresh water for you.  Drink my friend, drink.

ADMIT IT- YOU ARE A SINNER  (Romans 3:23)
Now that phrase in and of itself it shocking and has turned some people away from the "church" throughout the ages.  However, it is the foundation that you must accept in order to truly know Jesus.  The Bible says in that we are ALL sinners!  Yes, that means that Moses and those leaders in church and Billy Graham and Mother Teresa and you and I, every one of us (that is ALL), are sinners! (Romans 3:23)  What a wonderful realization!

Once you can admit that fact, you can begin to receive your healing and forgiveness for whatever you have done!  Jesus wants you, and He loves you, and He died for you, as imperfect as you are right now.  In Joel 2:32, the Bible assures us of this: "whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered".  So, that is the first step to knowing Jesus- admitting you need Him to forgive you of your sins.

BELIEVE IT-   THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD!  (Romans 10:9)
Because of His love for us, God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross and pay the price for our sins so that we can spend our eternity in Heaven.  Most of us have seen this quote from the Bible: (JOHN 3:16)  - It says "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."   That is worth celebrating everyday!

CONFESS JESUS as your LORD!
Romans 10:8 tells us like this: "for the WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart..." And here is the really important part - (v9) "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

Would you like to pray and admit to God you are a sinner, ask Him to forgive you, and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life? If so, pray the following prayer and ask God to save you:

Dear God, I believe Jesus is Your Son and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I admit to You that I am a sinner and in need of forgiveness. Please forgive me and save me. I turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Amen.

Romans 10:11 assures us of this  "...Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed..."

So, what is next?  A few more verses down in Romans 10:17 is this insight... "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ".  That means YOUR next step should be to find a place of worship consistent with the teaching of JESUS, a place that teaches consistently with we have presented above.  If they are professing something different than JESUS as the Son of God, keep searching.

It is important to find a body of fellow believers, who will help you, encourage you and direct you in the ways to grow, just like a parent does a child. There are many growth opportunities ahead.  Don't try to do it on your own.  Just as a body has hands, feet, legs, toes....so is the body of Jesus Christ made up of individual parts that rely on each other.

By committing your life to Jesus, you will WANT to grow.  That is the tougher part for most people.  You cannot simply say that prayer above today and then return to the old ways tomorrow.  It is a daily walk to know JESUS.  Grow!

Soon, we will be listing references for local churches you can contact for more assistance in this growth.  Our prayer for you is that you will grow to love HIM in all ways, and in ALL your ways, acknowledge HIM and lean on HIM.  He is a very big God- He can handle your problems!

Be a blessing to someone today!
Your friend in Jesus
